About Scheil Solidification Simulations

The Scheil Calculator is a calculator within Thermo-Calc that allows users to easily set up and perform Scheil solidification simulations, which are non-equilibrium transformations or partial-equilibrium transformations that result in an estimation of the solidification range of an alloy. The calculator is included in all Thermo-Calc installations. Users can also make Scheil solidification simulations using the Property Model Calculator, which offers the benefit of additional calculation types, such as Uncertainty, Min/Max, and Batch.
